Baby Update... 39 weeks!

Well, we're almost done! Any day now. I was 3 centimeters a week ago. No tellin' what I am now, all I know is Brody better come out SOON! I'm not sure how much more stretching I can do. Surprisingly, I feel really good. The only time I'm slightly uncomfortable is at night, I can't find a comfy position to sleep in, but other than that, I feel like a million bucks! Well, maybe a hundred... :)

Halloween!

Hope everyone had a nice Halloween. We had a good time between Cali's school parade, visiting daddy at work, and then trick-or-treating around the neighborhood in the evening. It was a wet one! We got rained on, but Cali sure didn't care. She made an ADORABLE Dorothy....




I didn't really dress up, but I did decorate my big belly :) It made the perfect Brody pumpkin!





Next appointment for baby is on Monday the 10th, I will make sure and update everyone!;

Update!

It's been a while! A lot has happened since my last blog entry... we had an amazing baby shower on Oct 18th. It was so much fun to have family and friends together for a celebration of what's to come. Kyle BBQ'd burgers and dogs for the whole group, and we all had a great time. Baby Brody made out with some pretty neat stuff too!!







I am still working 40-50 hours a week. I'm pretty tired, but chugging along. Lots of painful, yet irregular contractions in the last few weeks but no real labor yet. We are waiting on pins and needles for the day to come, it is really sneaking up on us! We can't wait for our little guy to be here, and big sis is getting quite anxious too! We'll keep you updated as these final weeks go by. Until then, I'll leave you with a recent belly picture...

My Favorite Little Ladies...

Over the past two+ years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to take care of two amazing little girls. I can't think of a better job for myself, as I was able to bring Cali along with me every single day. I never dreamed that we would all bond the way we did. The girls are inseparable, and I am quite attached to them as well! Summer & Allie are 5 and 4 years old (sisters). Cali is right in the middle of them age-wise and it has just worked out so well. The past two years have been filled with trips to the park, The Zoo, San Francisco, Happy Hollow, Fairyland, swimming, beach days, and even family trips to Marine World and Disneyland! It is so much more than a job. I will miss them incredibly come November when I stop working to stay home with my new little guy. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had this opportunity to get to know such a great family. I believe we will be friends for many years to come. I am so thankful that Andrea will be taking over my position, as I know that means I will see them all the time! Any time I want! :) Here are a TON of pictures from our last two years together. Hard to believe the girls were so little when I first started taking care of them... now Summer is in Kindergarten, while Cali and Allie have one more year of pre-school. Time flies....

The Happiest Place on Earth!

Back in July, we were lucky enough to go on a week-long adventure down to Southern California. Our itinerary included an amazing two days in Disneyland. Our main event in So-Cal was attending, and being a part of my friend Sandy's wedding. I was a bridesmaid, and Cali was an adorable flower girl! For those of you who don't know Sandy, she is my oldest friend; somehow I got stuck with her in 2nd grade and haven't been able to shake her off since! :) I am so excited that her and Zack (hubby) have decided to move back to The Bay Area from Irvine. We helped them get situated in their new place last weekend. It's great to have them back! We look forward to many double dates and Rock Band nights in the future!
